Reading a Vault
Each vault on vaults.kyros.fi publishes its strategy before it opens. Here is what each field means.
Strategy
- Direction: the token traded and the side, for example
LONG SOL. - Thesis: the setup behind the trade, for example "Breakout Retest & Bullish Continuation".
- Entry level: the price, or price range, at which the position is opened.
Exit
- Take-profit levels (TP1 to TP3): prices at which part of the position is closed. The take-profit % next to each level is the share of the position closed there; together they add up to 100%.
- Stop loss: the price at which the whole position is closed.
- Maximum duration: the number of days the trade can stay open. Whatever is still open at the end is closed.
Subscription
- Subscription currency: the token you deposit. Currently always USDC.
- Maximum size: the most the vault will raise, or "Uncapped".
- Raised and Subscription progress: how much has been deposited so far, against the maximum size.
- Status: open while the strategy is running, closed once it is over.
Example
A past vault, LONG SOL, was set up as follows:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Entry level | 102 |
| TP1 | 108, close 30% |
| TP2 | 113, close 50% |
| TP3 | 120, close 20% |
| Stop loss | 98 |
| Maximum duration | 7 days |
| Maximum size | 30,000 USDC |
If SOL had reached 108, 30% of the position would have been closed there and the rest left running towards TP2 and TP3. A drop to 98 would have closed everything that was still open.
